The Heritage Room (Located in the Shipman Library)

The second, smaller exhibition space on campus is the Heritage Room, located in the Shipman Library. The Art and Design department presents six exhibitions per year including a one-person Outstanding Underclassman Exhibition and a one-person Outstanding Senior Show - awarded during the Juried Student Exhibition in Stubnitz each fall. Each year at Homecoming, in conjunction with the department ’s Alumni Professor-for-a-Day, one or two Art and Design Alumni are invited to show in the Heritage Room and talk with students about their work and career path. Other exhibitions are from visiting artists, faculty, and various groups and collections.
